Hello, my name is Mark Maguire.  I am a leader in my local community, a volunteer, a hard-working father of two.  I am really just an average guy, much like many of you, trying to do what is best for my family and community.  I believe we can do better than where we are at today, and that's why I am running for the Kent County District 6 Levy Court Commissioner, and I hope to earn your support!

I understand how vital it is for public officials to engage with the community and listen to your concerns and needs. I will be a commissioner available not only to you, the citizens of the 6th district but to the entire Kent County community. I am open and willing to listen to your concerns and will never forget that I work for you.

You should know that I support 100% all First Responders from Law Enforcement, Dispatchers, Fire Departments and Emergency Medical Service Agencies. 

I support our Farmers.  That, I believe, has been forgotten too many times on a county level and throughout our State.

I would like for Kent County government to become more user-friendly and efficient regarding residents' use of essential government services. 

Fiscally, I'd like to ensure transparency and accountability of our taxes and other revenues. 

Kent County should be a place where you and I want to raise our families. A vibrant community where we are all valued and can thrive.  I want to hear from you. What do you believe is needed to improve our lives and livelihood?  More small and medium-sized businesses? Better community services?  Less government regulation?
